What to Wear:
Comfy stretch clothing, (not jeans) tights or shorts and t-shirt are best. No shoes are worn during class.
This style of teaching requires the teacher to see the leg muscles and alignment of bones, so fitting tights are best.
Food:
Try not to eat 2 hours before class, if you do need to eat keep it very light and as early as possible. It is best NOT to drink during a class but before and after is fine.
Home Practice:
If you wish to practice at home ask the teacher to give you some helpful worksheets and advice. Your practice will improve much quicker if you start to do the odd exercise at home.
While menstruation occurs there are some asanas (postures) that need to be avoided, therefore please indicate to the teacher before class starts if you are at the time of class practice.
